Title: a nice spring day at Beaverbank!
Post by astroflyer on Mar 18th, 2012 at 7:59pm
Joe and Jon took planes and helis.  I brought a camera.

Despite being a little windy quite a bit of flying was done.  Two crashes, one ok, one bad.  (see the video)

1.  Joe and Jon start the new profile plane (forget what it's called)

2. flies great and really stands out

3. a short visit to the woods

4.  everything is fine.

2. jon's 550E down low

3.  Joe's 600 glow inverted

4.  Joe had some company in the air

A word to the wise. Be veeeery careful during those short trips in the woods at Beaverbank. There is a very NASTY creature in there especially at this time of the year called a TICK. I know all about it first hand and will not go anywhere  there in the woods without being completely covered ( hood, duct tape, etc. ) and doing a once over when I get home.

Just saying  :)

thanks for the heads up don.

those buggers are taking over the province, not just beaverbank.  Found a lot of them last summer on my dogs after walks in the Stewiacke park.  I expect they're pretty much everywhere you find any deer.
