Had a chance to maiden this bird late in the day at Margaree funfly and it flew nicely. Jon Boy liked it so much I think he's gotta have one ;D I was hoping to get many flights in on Sunday but immediately had a problem with the motor, came to screeching (literally) halt and sent me off the runway :-( On inspection later,a retaining collar on the motor shaft had loosened, a possible cause or result. Timing seemed to be an issue as well, first use of Spektrum AR8000 reciever that came with my DX8 and it isn't lighting up anymore-not a good start ! Anyway, I just liked the beautiful lines of this plane and its quick (not too quick) pace. It's just pretty :)
