Title: Jon made an impression down in Maine Post by nano nano on Jan 22nd, 2013 at 8:00pm
we stumbled onto this video today. Jon had made a trip to maine in 2011 and flew at an all electric fun fly near Portland with his geebee, comet and pylon racer. seems he made an impression!

Yessir, I'd love to have that one as well. awesome looking airplane although I feel there are some better looking Canadian schemes, in particular the yellow Canadian forces version.

Yes I saw that twin otter in the Pitts. The guy did not fly the plane at all during the there days while I was there. My impression was that it was a hangar queen. One of the there days had no wind at all and he still did not fly it. Nice quality airplane though. You are right it is very expensive.

I feel as if I made a major contribution to Jon's participation in this fine hobby..... why I remember waaay back, when Al used to bring Jon to Margaree, soo young he was...........very interested in everything that wrecked. I donated more than my fair share of broken wings and propellers to Jon's collection, helped keep his interest going... ;)

So nice of you Sandy, and others to keep me in fresh toys to play with. I am sure that I was always front and center to pick up the pieces!
