Jon, Alain and myself drove to New Brunswick on Saturday for the Westmorland Aeromodelers Club Fun Fly.

This group is based at the field created by Marc Ramsay on his farm just outside Petitcodiac. Marc has done a wonderful job of restoring this field following the vandalism which destroyed it last season.

About 20 modellers turned out despite once again very strong winds at a fun fly. We had a great time and the registration money collected is to be donated to the local SPCA, and that makes the event a real winner IMHO. A big thanks goes to Matt Clark who organized the fun fly.

I've just uploaded my photos of the meet and will have a video possibly later today.

It was an awesome day, and yes it was very windy. Thanks to the guys for the event. It was great to see Marks field, and to play warplanes with Alain, and as well I was able to meet Matts Parents, although I am not sure what happened to him! :D Plenty of runway and no obstacles to get in your way. Just flat out fun. Also as always it is great to be able to come home and look at the pictures and video of the event. We are so lucky to have that. Thanks to my F-N Little C-Man ;D

it was a great time.
I must say, the corsair is no match to that German thing.

Thanks for making the trip guys. It was a surprisingly well attended event and we will more than likely do something next year.

Now Jonathan - if you're gonna take your jacket off, while you're flying (!), things will happen, like landing gear coming off - just a matter of basic modelflyingationest.... reallyyyyyyyy :D
