Title: interesting airplane conversion

I saw one of these sitting in the river at Bangor, Maine years ago and stupidly did not take the time to stop and photograph it.  Not sure if it is still flying but that particular one was operating from a seaplane base in northern Maine. There were I think a total of four of these flying during ww2.

Video starts slow but gets better part way through.

And here is the one I saw in Maine.  Again, video starts off slow, but great shots of the landing and taxiing on the water towards the end.
