Twelve flyers out for a great weather day. No wind, nada, lots of sunshine and a ton of flying!

The battery cover on Geoff's stryker departed the airframe and went through the prop tearing the motor from it's brand new one flight motor mount. Deep six for another stryker motor mount. ;D

in other news the right prop on my mosquito exploded on a low pass down the runway today resulting in a yaw towards the pits. My hamfisted reaction to that kept it away from the pits but dumped it onto the runway banging up the underside of the nacelles.
took it home, hauled out the foamsafe and put her all back together (nacelle undersides no longer pretty) reversed the motor wires on the right motor so rotation is normal, added the two 8/6 APC props it should have had in the first place, and went back tonight and flew it two more flights. the result: better props for that plane, more agressive and a better sound. and you cannot see the nacelle bottoms in the air anyway. ;D |

It sure was a fantastic flying day, near-perfect conditions. Great coverage as always Al :)
