Title: working and flying at the field saturday may 02

Things at the field are looking great!  It's drying fast and is flyable at the moment. We flew quite a bit today!

Just damp on the runway and in the pits. The road all the way to the top of the hill where you turn onto the pasture is almost totally dry and is passable.  It's amazing how fast our site dries up once the snow goes. There is one small patch of snow still halfway through the woods, but it is easily driven over.

For the next little bit, please stay off the pasture with a vehicle to let the road dry there.  shouldn't take long.

Some photos of the work party today clearing some more trees along the far side of the field.  This area is getting opened up nicely!

Working hard there today were Jon, Craig, Darren, Chris and a new member Tim Smith from Brookfield.   Darren brought his 4-wheeler again to tow the cut trees away. Thanks gents!  it's looking great!

hard at it!  In a couple of these shots, you can see how much more open it's going to be.

Thanks guy's for all the help today, and thanks dad for the pictures and the report as usual. You always do this for us all, and wel apreciate it. It looks amazing up at the field now to say the least and its fun to be able to get out and play airplanes again. I will do more in the next few weeks.
