You would think it would be a lot more economic to just mount some hidden cameras and sensors. Or at their labour rates, a guy with binoculars in the rafters.

Yup, but either they are using them to hover over the kids or you may as well have fixed sensors placed in the room. Kind of a bizarre use of a drone, think someone just wanted to have some fun. Definitely would be a fun toy to play with, bet CSIS wishes they had one :)
