Rick and I at the field today.  A bit cold up until about noon, not much wind, a lot of flying was done.

Rick's racing quad.  I was coming back from a walk with Willow when Rick flew in close to guve me a good look;  Shot the first picture and then the quad spun into the ground.  Caught the second shot just as it was hitting.  Guess I must have blocked the signal.  lol

Flying my Artisan this afternoon and was on landing approach ten feet up about to land when this hawk came sailing over my head from behind, very low and proceeded to go after my plane.  Rick was using my camera and grabbed a couple of shots.

At one point it came up over the plane from behind just a foot or so over the plane and dropped its legs like a pair of landing gear.  Neat to see.  It was for sure gonna grab me, but changed its mind.  I powered up and went around and around with it for about thirty seconds.  All right in front of us right at the center line of the runway.
