Title: At the field June 13, an eagle adventure.
Post by FLC astroflyer on Jun 13th, 2017 at 8:04pm
Rick and I out flying today.  Wonderful windless day until noonish when it picked up. When we left about 3pm, it was blowing pretty good.

In the meantime Rick was lucky to have this eagle and then a hawk join in and fly around with his glider.  The eagle came from behind the pits and stayed with the glider for quite a while, perhaps ten minutes.  Near the end of the flight a hawk joined in and both continued to orbit until Rick had to land.

Rick did a bunch of hand launching today.  He's pretty good at it,  lol

A little adjustment needed and a heli test flight.

Last flight of the day in heavy wind, some fun cub entertainment.

Awesome pics Al!  Did the eagle take a run at the plane at any point?

See ya got a new smoker Rick :)  Which kit is that?

The eagle was just checking me out and it was really interesting when the hawk joined in. They didn't seem to pay any attention to each other but they sure were keeping me under close watch.

The heli is something I made several years ago but never could get it to fly right. I thought that today was the day to tune it up but it was way too windy by the time I did that.

I confess that I did not fly a quad today Joe. LOL.

Thanks for the pictures Al!
