Former ASRCM member Earl Inken passes away
Apr 26th, 2012 at 4:12pm

a former member of ASRCM,  Earl Inkpen passed away Tuesday evening. The obituary should be in the paper Friday or the first of next week.

I am so sorry to learn of this.  Earl was a wonderful man who I first met during the very early days of ASRCM on the original Neiforth farm site.

he was a very enthusiastic modeller and in those days experimented with many new things.  Brings back a lot of memories.  We had a ton of fun.  Most of the people from those days are also gone.

BLUE SKIES EARL!

Earl was at the Shearwater hobby show on the Sunday afternoon. I had a long chat with him and he was looking forward to flying this summer at the HEFA fields. It was a shock to hear he passed away.

Just read this post to learn that Earl passed away. He was one of the first RC flyers I met and he made certain that I felt welcome at the club.  I'm saddened by his loss.
