The maiden flight of my son Jon's Eflite Carbon-Z cub in Milford, Nova Scotia January 12, 2014.

The video is edited to remove some shakey camera work and some out of focus video.  Other than that it is almost the complete maiden flight in the correct sequence.

This new eflite plane is impressive!  Jon says when he bound the included AS3X receiver all control surfaces had been factory adjusted to exact neutral and when he flew it No trim was required.  You can see in the video he landed a couple of times on this first flight to make adjustments to the amount of down elevator mixed in with the flaps.  that too turned out to be the exact amount recommended in the manual, 45 percent on his DX8.

So is the Cub worth the 399 price tag?  Pretty steep for a foamie.
