Jon, Rob and I walked up to the field this afternoon.

There is one foot and in places two feet of snow still on the road. The pasture is starting to become snow free and the runway is still completely covered. The snow in the pits is still almost to the top of the plane stands in places.

Very wet underfoot and we didn't have proper footware to walk across to the runway.

Hundreds of robins up there today enjoying the bare ground and several eagles circling on the thermals.

We were going to fly, but I'll let Jon tell you why we didn't. lol

It was great to be up there today, and to see Rob as well. I liked driving in a Porsche! I would say that we will be able to cut trees real soon. Probably in the next 2 weeks. I will let you all know.
