Rob and I went to Stanley for the EAA fly in today and ran into Alex Bekkers and his father and brother.  Some of you may remember Alex when he was a member of our club.  He graduated this spring from the Royal Military College in Kingston and is now based in Cold Lake, full time in the air force.  He continues forward with his pilot training and recently was in Alaska for an exercise where he got fourteen flips in the hornets.

Here's Alex with Rob, his father on the left, his brother Willie on the right and our friend Edgil Dauphinee to the far left.  Edgil had a good day talking with many people including a long chat with a DNR heliopter pilot out of Shubenacadie.  Edgil flew those helicopters during his long career.
